Breathwork works.
Almost nobody sticks with it.

Pranoa exists to close the gap between knowing that slow breathing helps — and actually doing it, day after day.

The science has been clear for decades. Slow, deliberate breathing lowers stress, sharpens focus, deepens sleep, and — over a lifetime — protects the lungs in a way that tracks with how long we live. None of this is in dispute.

And yet almost everyone who tries breathing exercises stops within a week. The apps demand a screen. The techniques demand counting. The practice demands a discipline that's hard to summon at 2am or in the middle of a stressful day. The breath is free — but the habit is expensive.

So we built the opposite of another app. A small object you hold in your hand that does one thing: it gives your breath a rhythm to follow. No screen pulling you back into your phone. No counting. No subscription nagging you. You feel it, you follow it, and your body does the rest.

It's a deliberately analog answer to a problem that technology mostly made worse. We think the most advanced wellness tool is sometimes the one that asks for nothing but your attention.

A few things we're stubborn about.

01

The best tool disappears.

A wellness device shouldn't demand attention, notifications, or a feed. It should do its job and get out of the way. Pranoa has no screen on purpose.

02

Touch beats instructions.

You don't need to learn to breathe — you need something to follow. A rhythm in the hand is understood by the body instantly, in a way no written instruction ever is.

03

Honesty over hype.

We didn't invent the science and we won't pretend we did. We cite real research, we don't fake testimonials, and we'd rather under-promise than oversell. Calm shouldn't be marketed like a miracle.

04

Analog is a feature.

In a world optimised to capture your attention, choosing a tool that asks for none of it is almost radical. We're building for the people quietly looking for the off-ramp.

Early, and honest about it.

Pranoa is in development, designed in Switzerland, and heading toward a first production batch. We're opening pre-orders now because the people who join early shape what this becomes.

We don't yet have 80,000 customers or a shelf of awards — and we won't pretend otherwise. What we have is a clear idea, real breathing science behind it, and a commitment to build it properly rather than quickly.

If you pre-order, you'll hear from us at every milestone — and if we don't deliver, you get your money back. That's the deal.

Build the habit that actually sticks.
